Website delivery and security

This static website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical request data, including IP addresses and traffic information, to deliver and protect the site. We do not run a separate visitor analytics or advertising service.

Processing for secure website delivery is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare operates internationally, so processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Its data processing addendum describes the applicable transfer safeguards, and its privacy policy describes service data processing.

Cookies, fonts and local storage

The site uses system fonts and sets no cookies. Auto theme mode follows your device setting by default. If you explicitly select Light or Dark, the site stores only that choice in your browser under changecost-theme to apply it on future visits. Selecting Auto removes it. This preference is not sent to us and is not used for tracking. The browser retains it until you select Auto or clear site data. Storage serves the display preference you requested under § 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Cloudflare may use security-related cookies when needed to protect the service; see its cookie documentation.

Email enquiries

If you email us, we process your address, message and any information you choose to provide to respond to your enquiry. The basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) for steps requested before entering a contract. Email is handled through our email service providers. Please do not send credentials, prompts or private usage exports.

Retention

We retain correspondence only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any applicable legal retention obligations. Hosting and security data are processed under Cloudflare’s applicable service retention practices. We do not maintain a separate visitor tracking database.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR’s conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the address above. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, including the Baden-Württemberg data protection authority.

This website does not offer accounts, collect usage exports, or make automated decisions about visitors. See the GDPR for the full statutory rights.
